Fuzzy Dynamic Thermal Rating System-Based SIPS for Enhancing Transmission Line Security

چکیده

The increased integrations of intermittent renewable energy sources into power systems cause more grid congestions and therefore system operators need advanced control to relieve this pressure. dynamic thermal rating (DTR) is able increase the constraint subsequently maximum loading existing lines. This achieved through real-time considerations weather data it usually much higher than traditional static system. operational tripping scheme (OTS), a variant wider integrity protection scheme, also relieves line but does by pre-selected generators have unwanted consequence reducing adequacy. paper proposes novel integration DTR OTS, while considering inherent uncertainties their sensors based on fuzzy numbers, avoid unnecessary generation due conservative ratings. Fuzzy-DTR-OTS delays generations, enhances adequacy supply, improves security avoids high risk cascading black out inducing events.
